研究歷史和課題

由於很快就被教會接納，有關馬太福音作者等問題，教會傳統早有
定案。自從歷史鑑別方法崛起，來源鑑別法的二源說及隨後如形式鑑別
法和編修鑑別法的探究，卻擴展了福音書作者及相關的課題。自八○年
代興起的敘事鑑別，在歷史鑑別添上整體敘事的考量，而對第二聖殿時
期猶太作品的重視，也在以基督教認受馬太福音觀點的同時（reception

history），從猶太溯源（inception history）的角度思考。

嚴格來說，「馬太福音」應該是佚名作品，因為「馬太福音」書題並
非福音書原稿的一部分。然而，根據韓格爾的研究，作品被冠以「馬太
福音」（  ），不僅極早，甚至可能從開始流傳

時就有。 縱使韓格爾的講法未獲證實，教會確定馬太福音的作者，早在
第二世紀中期已有共識，也見於抄本的證據。 5
